Lower footfall areas, biological spores can multiply, leading to unsightly algae growth and slippery surfaces.
In high-traffic city centre areas, out-of-the-way nooks can also be a magnet for public urination, with the unwanted biological soiling and odour generation which can result. Likewise, in places with ledges, eaves, and other perching positions, the area below, regardless of the deterrent methods used, can often be marked with bird waste.

From natural stone materials such as Marble, Granite, Yorkstone, and Slate, to man-made block paving in brick and cement paving slabs, this versatile technology is equally effective.
Styles Façade Solutions® applies a protective coating of Aqua Fend® G to freshly cleaned public realm paving. An operative in full PPE uses a backpack sprayer to treat the stone surface, helping extend the time between future cleaning cycles.
AQUA FEND® FOR LONGER TERM PROTECTION AND STAIN REDUCTION
The use of super-heated steam leaves the surface effectively sterilised upon completion, eradicating the biological spores that lead to rapid algae re-growth. The application of Aqua Fend® products further protects surfaces, impregnating them and extending intervals between cleans for years. Invisible and UV resistant, Aqua Fend® contains 0.0% VOCs, is non-toxic, non-hazardous, solvent and silicone-free.
